| Abstract: | O presente artigo expõe o processo brasileiro de construção da profissão de assistente social juntamente com o processo da Reforma psiquiátrica e Luta Antimanicomial no Brasil. Procurou-se abordar a Luta Antimanicomial numa perspectiva histórico-dialética, com aparato teórico percorre-se um caminho teórico analítico a partir da Pesquisa Bibliográfica e da Análise Documental. Aborda-se os temas: Serviço Social e sua insurgência como profissão no Brasil; Processo de Renovação da profissão e Projeto Ético político; a construção de políticas públicas na saúde mental; trajetória sócio-histórica Reforma Psiquiátrica e Luta Antimanicomial; O profissional de Serviço Social e saúde mental e por fim, as investidas neoliberais e os desafios de uma atuação profissional crítica na contemporaneidade. |
| metadata.dc.description.abstracten: | The present article exposes the Brazilian process of building the social work profession alongside the process of Psychiatric Reform and the Anti-Asylum Movement in Brazil. An attempt was made to address the Anti-Asylum Movement from a historical-dialectical perspective, using a theoretical framework to trace an analytical path based on Bibliographic Research and Document Analysis. The following topics are discussed: Social Work and its emergence as a profession in Brazil; the Renewal Process of the profession and the Ethical-Political Project; the development of public policies in mental health; the socio-historical trajectory of Psychiatric Reform and the Anti-Asylum Movement; the role of the Social Work professional in mental health; and finally, the neoliberal challenges and the difficulties of maintaining a critical professional practice in contemporary times. |
