| Abstract: | O recorte deste trabalho não é somente falar sobre cabelo, pois nunca será apenas cabelo. O nosso objetivo é abordar reconhecimento, pertencimento, afetividade, identidade, construção do empoderamento negro, representatividade, tendo o cabelo crespo como peça central de movimento de várias mulheres negras que buscam por respeito. As nossas raízes crespas englobam questões relacionadas ao racismo, à tentativa de apagamento da nossa cultura e o nosso próprio apagamento. Portanto, falar sobre tais questões se faz necessário e urgente. Assim, pretende-se, com a série documental Raízes Crespas evidenciar diferentes narrativas por meio do exercício da entrevista com três mulheres negras com trajetórias diversas. |
| metadata.dc.description.abstracten: | The focus of this paper is not just to talk about hair, because it will never be just hair. We aim to address recognition, belonging, affection, identity, the construction of black power, representation, with curly hair as the centerpiece of the movement of several black women seeking respect. Our curly roots encompass issues related to racism, to the attempt to erase our culture, and to our own erasure. Therefore, talking about such issues is necessary and urgent. Thus, the documentary series "Raízes Crespas" intends to highlight different narratives through the exercise of interviewing three black women with diverse trajectories. |
