| Abstract: | O presente artigo de revisão aborda a teoria da aprendizagem significativa de David Ausubel e sua contribuição para a prática docente nas aulas de Geografia no Ensino Médio. A pergunta norteadora da pesquisa foi: Quais contribuições podemos apontar para a prática docente nas aulas de Geografia no Ensino Médio a partir da teoria da aprendizagem significativa de David Ausubel? As fontes desta pesquisa foram contextualizadas e aplicadas através de discussão crítica durante o curso da pesquisa e tiveram por objetivo desenvolver a competência do levantamento de hipóteses e conclusões práticas para o ensino de Geografia no Ensino Médio. A teoria da aprendizagem significativa destaca duas características para que ocorra a aprendizagem significativa: conteúdo potencialmente significativo, ou seja, que os conteúdos tenham significados lógicos e que existam conhecimentos prévios adequados para dialogar com os novos conhecimentos e assim, permitir a assimilação e atitudes potencialmente significativas por parte do aluno, ou seja, interesse em aprender de forma significativa. Considera-se que a aprendizagem significativa de David Ausubel pode tornar as aulas de geografia no Ensino Médio e a escola numa perspectiva mais ampla num espaço de representações sociais positivas que ajudará os alunos do Ensino Médio no processo de amadurecimento e fortalecimento crítico, visando a melhor e mais produtiva cidadania possível. |
| metadata.dc.description.abstracten: | This review article addresses David Ausubel's theory of meaningful learning and his contribution to teaching practice in high school geography classes. The guiding question of the research was: What contributions can we point to the teaching practice in Geography classes in High School based on David Ausubel's theory of meaningful learning? The sources of this research were contextualized and applied through critical discussion during the course of the research and aimed to develop the competence of raising hypotheses and practical conclusions for the teaching of Geography in High School. The theory of meaningful learning highlights two characteristics for meaningful learning to occur: potentially meaningful content, that is, that the content has logical meanings and that there is adequate prior knowledge to dialogue with new knowledge and thus allow for assimilation and potentially significant attitudes on the part of the student, that is, interest in learning in a meaningful way. It is considered that David Ausubel's significant learning can make geography classes in high school and the school a broader perspective in a space of positive social representations that will help high school students in the process of maturation and critical strengthening, aiming at better and the most productive citizenship possible. |
